Jariah Walker is the Executive Director of the Colorado Springs Urban Renewal Authority (CSURA), where he oversees 16 active urban renewal plan areas that collectively generate over $16 million in annual Tax Increment Financing (TIF) revenue. In addition to managing urban renewal designations, Jariah leads the administration of more than $120 million in funding from the Colorado Regional Tourism Act for the transformative “City for Champions” initiative. This initiative includes major civic projects such as the new Air Force Academy Visitor Center, Colorado College’s Robson Arena, the UCCS Hybl Sports Medicine and Performance Center, Weidner Field/Switchbacks Stadium, and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum.

Jariah also serves on several city committees and holds leadership roles including serving on the Executive Committee of Downtown Colorado, Inc. and as a member of the Advisory Council for the Downtown Partnership of Colorado Springs.

Previously, Jariah was a partner at a real estate firm and brings a diverse background in development, marketing, politics, and public policy. A proud native of Colorado Springs, he is a father to three daughters, and in his free time, enjoys collecting records and running.
